Once upon a time, not so long ago, there was an Art Gallery.

It was rather an unusual Art Gallery because it didn't sell anything.

You see, everything in that Gallery window was just to look at.

 

 

 Welcome to Artinstages

 

Artinstages.com began around 2007 when I decided to create an online art gallery where people could come and look at my work as though it were to walk into a real gallery. There is no obligation to buy just a place to look at some interesting artwork.

 

My name is Sylvia Gaffney, an artist originally from Manchester, United Kingdom.

I first began painting in oils whilst living in the south of France, I was untrained but caught the bug when some of my paintings were exhibited locally. And later other local exhibitions in southern England.

See how my Art is In Stages of development as I enjoy creating with different mediums such as oils and acrylic paints on canvas, pen, pencil and ink but mainly I like to create in digital graphics.

Sometimes I use my drawings or photographs taken from unusual angles to enhance and some are creations from my imagination often producing some interesting results whilst using Paint Shop Pro 2023 and recently with Krita.

One of my favourite images to use is a photograph I once took of a reflecting crystal rainbow on the wall. Many images look nothing like I expected, somewhat surreal but can paint a picture all by themselves.

 

Featured in Creative Minds and published Art books with Artwanted.com, creativity comes in many forms and is forever changing but it is for You to see it as art.
